Juventus fans made their voices heard immediately in today’s traditional pre-season friendly, repeatedly chanting they ‘do not want’ Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea, especially after Dusan Vlahovic scored.

The Bianconeri always have a match between the senior and youth teams, which usually is at the training ground, but this season was moved to the Allianz Juventus Stadium to bring in over 20,000 supporters.

It was also an opportunity for the fans to send a message to the club hierarchy and coach Max Allegri, especially as patron John Elkann was present in the stands.

As soon as the game started against the Juventus Next Gen side, the crowd chanted: ‘We do not want Lukaku’.

Negotiations are still going for an exchange deal that would see Vlahovic move to Chelsea in exchange for Lukaku plus cash, with reports they could agree for a sum of €30-35m.

When Hans Nicolussi Caviglia was brought down, Vlahovic converted the penalty and waved to the crowd, who responded by chanting his name.

Surveys in newspapers, on websites and in television programmes have all shown an overwhelming majority of Juventus fans are against the idea of bringing in Lukaku, especially if it means losing Vlahovic.

Lukaku spent last season on loan at Inter and had seemed ready to make the move permanent when it all collapsed with revelations the Belgian had been in talks with their bitter Serie A rivals Juve.

Vlahovic then scored a second goal, his free kick taking a deflection off the wall.
