Juventus face two obstacles in quest for Arnautovic

Massimiliano Allegri wants a backup option for Dusan Vlahovic and has identified Marko Arnautovic as his top option, leaving Juventus to overcome two obstacles.

The Bianconeri’s summer transfer window is preparing to heat up, with Paul Pogba being the first arrival, and Allegri is waiting to embrace a new striker, keen to have more options upfront to take the pressure off Vlahovic a little.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Juventus are now working to pick up Arnautovic but first they’ll have to resolve two issues. The first of these is Moise Kean; the Italian striker is not in the club’s plans anymore and must be re-homed quickly in order to free up some space up front.

The second issue is represented by Bologna, who have no intention of losing the 33-year-old Austrian forward, who is contracted to the club until 2024. The relationship between Arnautovic and coach Sinisa Mihajlovic also works in the Rossoblu’s favour.

Regardless, Juventus are still planning to move ahead for Arnautovic, irrespective of the outcome of a possible swap deal with Chelsea involving Timo Werner and Matthijs de Ligt.
