Juventus eye Romagnoli

Juventus are reportedly keeping tabs on Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli, who may have to be sold this summer.

The Rossoneri have not been offered a Financial Fair Play settlement agreement by UEFA, so will be sanctioned by a tribunal next month.

They could even be thrown out of the Europa League, while owner Yonghong Li is likely to lose control of the club to hedge fund Elliott Management.

Milan may therefore be forced to sell players to balance the books, and today’s Corriere dello Sport  reports that Romangoli could be one of those.

The newspaper believes that Juventus are monitoring the situation, with the centre-back’s contract expiring in the summer of 2020.

Medhi Benatia could join Marseille, and Romagnoli is seen as an ideal replacement, as he’d join up with other young Italian defenders Mattia Caldara and Daniele Rugani.
