Manuel Locatelli is increasingly frustrated at the lack of progress between Juventus and Sassuolo, as the Bianconeri turn towards Miralem Pjanic or Renato Sanches instead.
The midfielder has finished his summer vacation after winning UEFA EURO 2020 with Italy and had hoped the clubs would’ve already reached an agreement.
Instead, Juve have stuck firm at their most recent proposal, while the player is rejecting every other alternative destination, including Arsenal.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Locatelli is now frustrated and annoyed, accepting his Juve move might have to wait until January or next season.
He already waited last summer and would like to continue at Sassuolo for at least another six months to make the dream switch happen.
Juventus are also considering Plan B, with Pjanic possibly returning from Barcelona after just a year, this time on loan with option to buy.
Another intriguing alternative suggested by La Repubblica newspaper is Renato Sanches, who won the Ligue 1 title with Lille last term.
