Wilfried Gnonto has exceeded expectations since joining Leeds United last year and Juventus have decided to start sounding out a possible deal for the winger.

The Premier League outfit paid €4.5m to bring in the 19-year-old Italian from FC Zurich last summer and he’s featured often in his debut season, scoring four goals and providing three assists in 20 appearances across all competitions.

Gnonto has continued to carve out a spot for himself in Roberto Mancini’s Italy squad and now Italian clubs are starting to think about bringing the teenager back to Serie A.

La Gazzetta dello Sport details how Juventus are planning to sell Moise Kean in the summer, hoping to receive a fair offer for the 23-year-old.

Should they manage to shift Kean, they’d be interested in picking up Gnonto to replace him. The Bianconeri have a strong relationship with Leeds, who will permanently sign Weston McKennie for €35m should they avod relegation, and they’ve already opened talks with the 19-year-old’s agents.
