Real Madrid youth prospect Rafa Marin has attracted the attention of top clubs around Europe and Juventus reportedly made a number on enquires into the defender in the summer.

The 20-year-old Spanish centre back is one of the stars of the Real Madrid Castilla squad, impressing with his ability in individual duels, aerial strength, positioning and build-up play. Marin’s contract expires with Los Blancos in 2024 and it contains a €30m release clause, although clubs are hoping to secure his signature for a lower fee.

As detailed by TMW, Juventus were one step ahead of their competition when they made an approach to Real Madrid in the summer to explore a possible deal for Marin. The Bianconeri made multiple enquires but ultimately looked elsewhere as they looked for an instant replacement for Matthijs de Ligt, eventually picking up Gleison Bremer.

Paris Saint-Germain are seriously interested in picking up Marin and could make a move for the 20-year-old next summer, when Juventus could also possibly return to the charge.
