Reports in Italy claim that Juventus expect to sign Teun Koopmeiners next week for a fee close to €60m.

Juventus are pushing to sign Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, who hasn’t been training with the rest of the team for several days.

The Dutch midfielder wants to move to Turin, but Atalanta haven’t yet given the green light.

Gazzetta and Tuttosport claim that Koopmeiners won’t join Juventus before next week’s game against Hellas Verona.

However, the Bianconeri still expect to sign the Dutch midfielder before the summer transfer window in Italy ends on Friday, August 30.

Atalanta’s asking price for Koopmeiners is €60m and according to Tuttosport, Juventus will nearly match their demands by offering €50m plus €6m-7m add-ons.

Gazzetta confirms that Juventus don’t have a ‘plan B’ and only want to sign Koopmeiners as a midfield reinforcement this summer.

The Bianconeri are also planning to sign at least one attacking winger, with Nico Gonzalez, Jadon Sancho and Francisco Conceiçao on their wishlist.
