Lecce talent Morten Hjulmand is set for an exciting summer as Roma and Napoli both registered their interest in him, and now Juventus have emerged to join the race.

The 23-year-old Danish midfielder has been quietly impressing with the Puglian outfit since his arrival from Admira Wacker in January 2021, joining the club in a deal worth just €170,000.

Hjulmand has grown into a core part of the Lecce squad and has played an important role in their positive season in Serie A, providing four assists in 23 league appearances and shining as the anchor in midfield.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Hjulmand has started to attract the attention of a number of clubs around Europe, with Lecce turning down a €13m offer from Southampton for the 23-year-old in the January transfer window.

Roma have already spoken to the Puglian outfit and in recent weeks Napoli have noted their interest. Lecce expect to sell the Dane for around €20m.

With Adrien Rabiot on his way out and Nicolo Rovella’s future still hanging in the balance, Juventus have emerged to join the race for Hjulmand, blowing things wide open ahead of the summer transfer window.
