Paulo Dybala and Giorgio Chiellini trained with the rest of the team yesterday and are expected to be available for Wednesday’s Champions League clash against Villarreal.

The Bianconeri stars missed the last month of action with muscle injuries but should be available in two days when the Bianconeri host Villarreal in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 at the Allianz Stadium.

Goal.com reports that Dybala and Chiellini worked with the rest of the team yesterday, except for the shooting practice at the end of the training session. Therefore, they should be available for Juventus‘ key European fixture against Unai Emery’s side.

The Serie A giants picked up a 1-1 draw in Spain three weeks ago and need a win to qualify for the quarter-finals. Any draw would see the team go to extra time. Juventus are the only Serie A team still involved in the Champions League. Dybala will have more than one reason to impress against the Spanish side as talks to extend his expiring contract will resume during the international break, just a few days after the Villarreal clash.

  1. Dybala as a sub. He has the skill to affect a game late on.
Chiellini, well it is hard to believe a 37 year old can come back from injury and instantly play in the CL last 16, but Chiellini has done it so many times before!

  2. If I were Allegri I would play the same lineup in the last match and use Dybala as the sub. The chemistry is start to grow and I think Cuadrado is better than Dybala as the midfielder on the right side and Morata is also better than him as the second striker.
