Juventus have struggled to replace Cristiano Ronaldo’s goals and currently have the worst record among the top 10 in Serie A.

Ronaldo scored 101 goals in 134 competitive games with the Bianconeri, helping the club win two Scudetti and one Coppa Italia during his three years at the Allianz Stadium.

But the Portuguese superstar, capped 182 times by his national team, left the club in August and the Bianconeri never managed to replace his goals before the transfer market shut.

Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with a move to the Bianconeri in recent weeks and the Serbian could be a solution to the obvious problem at Juve this term.

Juventus sit eighth in the table and the record in front of goal is the main problem, with 16 goals scored in the first 12 games.

Inter are the highest scoring side in the league with 29 goals from the same amount of games played.

The Bianconeri have the worst record among the top 10 Serie A clubs, tied with Fiorentina on points and goals scored.

Hellas Verona have scored 25 and sit 10th, while Bologna at ninth have scored 19 goals so far.

Lazio striker Ciro Immobile leads the way in the Capocannoniere battle with 10 goals so far this term, one more than Giovanni Simeone and two above Fiorentina striker Vlahovic.

Immobile has scored more goals than Paulo Dybala, Moise Kean, Federico Chiesa and Alvaro Morata combined.

Dybala has bagged three goals in the league, with Kean, Chiesa and Morata all on two each so far in 2021-22.

7 thought on “Juventus desperate for goals after Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit”
  1. That’s why Ronaldo left juve, cuz he knew allegri tactic more defensive, management should hire a more attack-oriented coach with proven experience

  2. Cris is the best striker in the world, even now, Chiesa is surely missing him and thats why hes struggling. Ronaldo scores over 100 goals for Juventus, you can’t pretend that everything will be fine without him.

  3. Juve’s problem has not been in attack, they have been desperate to shore up the defense! The attacking phases had to be sacrificed to regain some stability.
The strikers have only recently started to reach something that resembles match fitness so hopefully there will not be any injuries picked up on this latest International break.
No one player will replace the goals Ronaldo scored but once stability has been achieved in the defense phases the team as a group can score more that enough goals.

  4. I was not for Ronaldo coming to Utd. Limiting Rashford and Sancho. That said we a desperate to rid ourselves of Maguire and Shaw the dumb and dumber show. Want them, take for free and we will also throw in Fred Flinstone in a Christmas sale. I hope better times can come to Juventus and my club as they are pillars of European football.

  5. This team was successful without Ronaldo in past, he did not bring nothing new especially what he was brought in for and completely failed. This loser is perfect for EPL or LA Liga as there is no tactical or skill set there. Chiesa will be fine without him people forget what he did in Italy for Euro2020. Juve will need to bring in Italian core which is what made them successful in past. Play as a team not team play for one. Bring in majority home grown and your fortunes will change quickly.

  6. Besart – that is a great plan the more British players go to Italy and visa versa the better it is for Italian soccer, pls instill in us your attacking mentality and rid us of this this shilly shaly shenaniganry excuses of why we are not clinical.

Send a boat load British Invasion style let’s go

  7. CR7 had to go to financial reasons – the team has to restructure and selling him is the quickest way to slash the expenses, We miss the goals yes, but we have faith in Cherubini to resolve the issues
