Mattia De Sciglio is among the 13 Serie A players suspended for the upcoming weekend of action as the Juventus defender used disrespectful language when complaining to the referee inside the tunnel after the derby d’Italia against Inter.

The former Milan defender had been introduced in the second half of Sunday’s match against the Nerazzurri and won’t be available on Saturday night when the Old Lady visits Cagliari.

The FIGC Sports Judge gave him a one-match ban as the defender disrespected the referee inside the tunnel at the Allianz Stadium after the match against Inter, which was decided by a penalty kick converted by Hakan Calhanoglu. De Sciglio was also fined €5,000.

Juventus appealed for a penalty kick in the second half and Adrien Rabiot harshly criticised the match official, saying on social media that it’s ‘hard to play 11 vs. 12.’

Alvaro Morata received his fifth yellow card of the season on Sunday and will also be suspended for the next match. The same goes for Inter’s Lautaro Martinez.

Marten De Roon (Atalanta), Alberto Grassi (Cagliari), Sebastiano Luperto (Empoli), Lucas Torreira (Fiorentina), Frank Anguissa (Napoli), Lorenzo Pellegrini (Roma), Federico Bonazzoli, Federico Fazio (Salernitana), Davide Frattesi (Sassuolo), Roberto Pereyra (Udinese) are the other players who received a one-match ban following the last Serie A round.
