Gleison Bremer underwent a round of medicals with Juventus today which confirmed a low-grade hamstring injury.

The 25-year-old Brazilian centre back was forced off in the 51st minute of the Derby della Mole against Torino on Saturday, leaving the club concerned as he limped off the pitch. Bremer was a key arrival for Juventus in the summer and has performed decently since his arrival, showing some of his defensive qualities.

As announced by Juventus, medical tests carried out today confirmed that Bremer has suffered a low-grade injury to the femoral biceps of his left thigh, an injury that’ll keep him out of action for around 20 days.

The injury rules Bremer out of the upcoming games against Empoli, Benfica, Lecce and Paris Saint-Germain. He’ll be hoping to recover in time for the Derby d’Italia against Inter on November 6.

Bremer has started in all but one of Juventus’ matches this season and his injury will be a blow to Massimiliano Allegri.
