Juventus defender Gleison Bremer has been called up for international duty by Brazil to replace injured Arsenal man Gabriel Magalhaes against England and Spain.

The break sees the Selecao in Europe for two matches, facing England at Wembley Stadium on Saturday March 23 and then Spain at the Bernabeu on Tuesday March 26.

Bremer was not originally in the group, but has been added following an injury to Arsenal defender Gabriel.

He has three previous caps at senior level for Brazil, two of them at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Bremer joins up with his Juventus defensive teammate Danilo, who had already been named in the squad by coach Dorival Junior.

  1. Mickey Mouse centre backs like Murilo, bruno and Beraldo?? get automatically called up but now Bremer who has been immense in serie a for at least 4 years now. Doesn’t even have 5 caps for Brasil. He should switch to representing italy where he is actually appreciated.
