Juventus reportedly have a ‘0 per cent chance’ to sign Aurelien Tchouameni with Chelsea and Real Madrid in pole position to secure the services of the Monaco starlet.

The Old Lady is looking for midfield reinforcement in the winter transfer window and the 21-year-old has been on their radars for several months.

However, the Bianconeri are likely to miss out on his signing. According to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Luca Bianchin, the Serie A giants have nearly a 0 per cent chance to sign the France international in January.

The Bianconeri need to sell at least one midfielder during the upcoming transfer window and can’t afford to sign the player permanently due to financial issues.

Juventus can make big-money moves, but only on loan with an option or obligation to buy. That’s the formula they used to sign Federico Chiesa in 2020 or Manuel Locatelli last summer.

On paper, both players are on loan in Turin, although the Bianconeri have an obligation to make their moves permanent over the next months.

Meantime, Chelsea and Real Madrid are reportedly in pole position to sign Tchouameni in January.

According to Marca, Chelsea are strong candidates to sign the Frenchman at the end of the season, but the 21-year-old has recently admitted that he was flattered by the interest shown by Real Madrid.

Axel Witsel and Denis Zakaria have been linked with a January move to Turin, with the latter seeing his contract with Borussia Monchengladbach expire at the end of the season.
