Juventus could send Rovella back to Monza

Juventus midfielder Nicolò Rovella is expected to be out for two weeks with a muscular injury and is increasingly likely to renew his loan with Monza.

The former Genoa man was sent home early from the team’s pre-season tour of the USA after picking up a strain in training.

According to reports, he was diagnosed with a small muscular lesion and will be out of action for circa 10-15 days.

Rovella was already quite low on the list of priorities for coach Max Allegri and one of the main candidates to be sent out on loan.

He spent last season at Monza and could renew that agreement at the U-Power Stadium for the 2023-24 campaign too.

The Italy Under-21 international made 25 appearances for them last term, scoring one goal.
