Massimiliano Allegri’s side silenced the passionate crowd at the Derby della Mole, and FootyStats shows that the form book really doesn’t go out of the window in the Turin derby.

In the previous 12 meetings between the sides at the Stadio Grande Torino Toro have managed just one win and one draw, with the Old Lady winning the other 10.

Across those 12 games, the Granata have never managed to keep a clean sheet, with the visitors keeping a clean sheet in 50 per cent of the meetings.

Lazio’s win over Verona on Monday night allowed the Biancocelesti to return to the Champions League places, at the expense of Inter.

Following their defeat at Genoa, the Nerazzurri have now managed just one win in their last 10 Serie A matches and their points per game average has now dropped to 1.92.

Were that ratio to continue for the rest of the season the Beneamata would finish on 73 points, a total which has always been good enough for a top four place in a 20-team Serie A.

However, their average of 0.9 points per game over the last 10 would see them finish on 61 unless they can pick up their form again.

The pace at the top could well see either Napoli or Juve comfortably break the 90 point barrier and still fail to win the Scudetto.

As things stand, Napoli are taking an average of 2.64 points per game, good enough for 100 points over a 38 game season.

Juventus average of 2.6 would see them finish on 99 points should they continue with that ratio until the end of the season, and no team has ever failed to win the Scudetto having cracked 90 points.

The two sides meet in Turin on April 22.
