Juventus midfielder Arthur wants to join Arsenal in January, so the Old Lady is considering signing Denis Zakaria or Nicolò Rovella, who is currently on loan at Genoa.

The Gunners are pushing to get Arthur on loan until the end of the season, paying the Brazilian’s salary until June.

Juventus are open to letting the former Barcelona midfielder go on two conditions: they want Arsenal to include an option or obligation to buy in the deal and they want to sign a replacement.

The Bianconeri are struggling financially and can only get new players on loan or free transfers.

Borussia Monchengladbach’s Denis Zakaria sees his contract expire at the end of the season and according to Sky Sport Italia, the Bianconeri are in talks with his agent for a possible move in January.

However, Zakaria is likely to leave his club in June and not this month, so Juventus are also considering the return of Nicolò Rovella, who formally signed with the Old Lady one year ago.

Rovella is currently on loan at Genoa but sustained an injury against Fiorentina last night and it remains to be seen how long he will remain out of action.
