According to reports on Wednesday evening, Juventus are contemplating a move to recall highly-rated youngster Matias Soule from his loan spell with Frosinone ahead of schedule after a series of impressive performances away from Turin.

Soule has racked up five goals and one assist in his first eight appearances for Frosinone, including four strikes in his last three matches, and, at 20 years old, he has already established himself as a key component of Eusebio Di Francesco’s side.

In fact, Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham is the only player born in or after 2003 to have scored more goals in Europe’s top five divisions so far in 2023-24.

According to reports from Calciomercato.com, Juventus are keen to provide Max Allegri with another attacker in the wide positions, but the solution could already be under their noses.

Calciomercato notes that Soule could be recalled in January, which would be roughly half-way into his original season-long loan agreement.

Previous comments from Frosinone director Guido Angelozzi indicate that the club would not be against sending Soule back to Juve in the right circumstances.

Calciomercato’s report suggests that a compensation fee may be required to terminate Soule’s original loan agreement, and that the likes of Samuel Illing-Junior or Nicolussi Caviglia could be made available to Frosinone for the remainder of the 2023-24 season.
