Tuttosport reports Mario Hermoso and Lloyd Kelly are Juventus‘ primary targets to replace Alex Sandro in 2024-25.
Alex Sandro is expected to leave Turin at the end of his contract in June 2024 and according to Tuttosport, Juventus have identified two possible replacements for the Brazilian defender.
They are Atletico Madrid‘s Hermoso and Bournemouth’s Kelly. Both players can move to Turin for free at the end of the season as their current deals also run out in June.
Both defenders are also left-footed, like Alex Sandro, so technically, they can replace the experienced Juventus defender.
However, Hermoso and Kelly have different characteristics which Juventus directors are assessing.
Hermoso is 28 and has more experience than 25-year-old Kelly who is playing his second-ever Premier League campaign. Hermoso has been a regular Atletico Madrid starter for the last four years, and the Colchoneros have already opened talks to offer him a new deal.
The Spaniard recently revealed that he still hasn’t decided whether to stay in the Spanish capital beyond the summer.
Kelly has also been scouted by Milan and is seen as a possible reinforcement by the Rossoneri for 2024-25.
