It is a case of one in, one out for Juventus, who have welcomed Francisco Conceicao back into group training, but have lost Timothy Weah again ahead of Saturday’s trip to Genoa in Serie A.
One in, one out for Juventus
According to updates from Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky Sport Italia, Conceicao is back in full training with Thiago Motta’s first-team group, having missed the last three weeks after picking up a muscular injury at Continassa at the beginning of September.
The Portugal international is understood to be fully available, and is likely to be included in the travelling squad for Sunday’s match against Genoa.
The Bianconeri will likely have to do without Timothy Weah, though, as he has picked up an ankle injury and will not be available for Genoa.
It is the second injury of the season for the USMNT star, who also suffered a thigh strain right at the beginning of the season, alongside teammate Khephren Thuram.
Weah will have to be assessed again after the weekend to see if he is able to feature in next next Wednesday’s Champions League clash against RB Leipzig in Germany.
