Massimiliano Allegri has reportedly taken his ex-wife Claudia Ughi to court for embezzlement and violation of family obligations.
La Stampa details how Allegri has accused Ughi of using part of the money intended for their son, an 11-year-old boy, for her own interests. Due to this, the Juventus coach has decided to sue her for embezzlement and violation of family obligations, keen to resolve the situation with legal backing.
Yesterday, prosecutor Davide Pretti asked for a sentence of one year and two months for Ughi, creating an unwanted situation for the Bianconeri coach as he tries to manage the stresses of the club’s slow start to the season.
Back in 2017, Allegri agreed to pay Ughi €10,000 a month for child support, but some of this money was allegedly used to pay for her daughter’s university costs.
In January 2021, the Juventus coach asked to lower this amount to €5000 a month, but this was rejected by the court. Subsequently, Allegri filed a complaint, triggering an investigation by the Guardia di Finanza.
