Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri protested vehemently against Davide Massa inside the referee’s dressing room on Friday and was therefore fined €10,000, the Sport Judge has revealed.

Allegri was furious with Massa, who had ignored Juventus’ penalty appeal for a Mattia Bani handball and hadn’t shown a straight red card to Ruslan Malinovskyi for a high challenge on Kenan Yildiz.

However, after the final whistle, the Italian tactician went too far and ‘disrespected’ referee Massa and VAR inside the officials’ locker room.

The incident came to light Tuesday when the Sport Judge announced a €10,000 fine for the Italian tactician.

It’s been reported that Allegri entered the referee’s locker room and protested ‘initially calmly’ and then in a ‘disrespectful way’, blaming Massa and VAR. For this reason, he was urged to leave the dressing room.

The Sport Judge also confirmed Lazio defender Manuel Lazzari has received a two-game ban and fined €5,000 for insulting the referee during a 2-0 loss against Inter, receiving a straight red.

Udinese’s Martin Payero received a one-game ban after receiving a red card in a game against Sassuolo while Caleb Okoli (Frosinone), Raul Bellanova (Torino) and Giulio Maggiore (Salernitana) will miss the next match after receiving the fifth yellow card in the previous round.

Frosinone, Lecce, Roma, Bologna and Napoli received fines due to their fans’ behaviour.
