Juventus are getting closer to finalising a deal for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes after a positive step forward in the talks, reports suggest.

Gianluca Di Marzio details how the Bianconeri are pushing to secure the 28-year-old Argentinian midfielder’s signature, desperate to pick up the player following their incredibly uninspiring start to the season. Paredes himself is open to the move after falling out of favour in the French capital.

Juventus and PSG have been in close contact today and things have moved forward, with the two clubs setting up a loan deal with a conditional obligation to buy clause attached, linked to certain sporting goals such as Champions League qualification.

In the meantime, Juventus are working on re-homing two unneeded players; Marko Pjaca could join Dinamo Zagreb and Denis Zakaria has also been linked with return to Germany as several Bundesliga clubs explore a deal.

The Bianconeri are also finalising the arrival of Olympique Marseille forward Arkadiusz Milik, giving Massimiliano Allegri another reinforcement up front.

  1. So Zakaria has always played well at international level and thought he was making a step up. Going to the graveyard of Europe was always a risk not worth taking. He should have stayed in Germany and maybe a bigger club like Bayern or even Dortmund might have called. King Rabiot, Rivellino and even Flimsey were given ample time to perfect the ancient ball.

  2. Paredes is a solid multi dimensional midfielder but to go with milik over depay makes absolutely no sense depay can play at the striker and if needed a midfielder as well and he can really succeed next to vaholivich milik can’t
