Juventus are reportedly closing in on both Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic and Barcelona striker Memphis Depay, as the Blaugrana are in a financial crisis and not allowed to register their new players.

Kostic started the opening Bundesliga match of the season this evening, but it won’t have helped his desire to remain considering they lost 6-1 at home to Bayern Munich.

He is on the verge of a move to Juve for circa €15m plus bonuses, after the first offer of €12m plus €3m in add-ons was rejected.

According to Tuttomercatoweb and Sportitalia pundit Tancredi Palmeri, Juve have also been offered Depay at a cut-price deal from Barcelona.

This is because the Blaugrana desperately need to get him off their books and are almost ready to let him go for free.

Today it was reported that LaLiga warned Barcelona they cannot register their new summer signings until lowering the wage bill, which has burst straight through the salary cap.

Depay is only under contract until June 2023, so there were also suggestions he could terminate his contract early by mutual consent.

  1. And yet still nobody can tell me why Barca have not been punished under FFP the way Milan were.

    It’s all run by crooks.

    That’s why.

  2. I’m surprised PSG is still in business for all the shady transactions been doing since that crook prince took over the club!!

The same reason why the UEFA’s referee didn’t award Juventus a penalty in 2015 UCL Final where Pogba was brought down with a WWE move by Dani Alves. Pathetic UEFA , Pathetic Spanish Clubs almost winning most of their European with the help of either refs or rules or controversial draws

Milan were punished for failing to comply with UEFAs FFP requirements. Barca can’t register their players because they are failing to comply with La Liga’s FFP requirements. Different organisations, different FFP rules, different punishments. I can’t believe any Milan fan would even complain about that anyway, given the fact that they essentially decided their own punishment, offering to miss out on the Europa League that season instead of potentially missing out on the far more lucrative Champions League next year.

UEFA are just another an organized criminal enterprise. They kept Lucky Luciano Moggi and his paymasters out of prison for 30 years.

  6. @Fatecisognare ahahahaha I love your last sentence. Yeah Kostic would be a nice addition on the wing since we Wont have Chiesa for some time. Depay was really good in Lyon, but in Barca he just struggled. But, lot of players struggled at Barca the last 2 seasons so maybe its not him. I think he is a player who likes to run into space, which he will have a lot of with our playing style. Lets see what we find out the next few days.

  7. @Fatecisognare It’s as if they forgot who dominated Serie A past decade?? Inter could only muster 1 Scudetto, Milan probably the same. Back to another 10 years of Juve domination.

  8. Kostic looks like a decent addition but Depay is completely done. And if he arrives for free he would want a Ramsey salary, and he is anything but desperate to leave Barcelona since he earn good money there

  9. Another Lazy Fat player from Barca ! I don’t know why we don’t get lessons from players like Arthur !!!

If I was a decision maker I would have go for Pjanic.

  10. Alexis sanchez should join Barca for free and for no wages if he loves them so much because he obviously is not interested in money

  11. Kostic, winger from serbia that born in 1st November, same as Juventus.

That reminds me with Krasic, hope he will not be the next Krasic lol

  12. Only want Zaniola, be ok with kostic=coming from the sub.

Depay aint good enough – he should go back to lyon
