Juventus general manager Maurizio Arrivabene is concerned that Europa League holders Villarreal ‘have a certain experience’ in knockout ties.
The Champions League Round of 16 kicks off at 20.00 GMT.
The first leg ended 1-1 in Spain, you can follow all the build-up and action as it happens from the decider on the LIVEBLOG.
“Seeing the stadium fill up with people is an incredible sensation,” Arrivabene told Juventus TV.
“Villarreal are a team and Unai Emery a coach who already won the Europa League last season, so have a certain experience in these knockout matches. We are at this stage, we must focus on ourselves and putting in a good performance.”
There was a boost for Juventus yesterday when the Under-19 side beat Liverpool 2-0 to reach the Youth League quarter-finals for the first time.
“Juve have always been a European club, as proved by the fact we are here playing the Champions League Round of 16 against Villarreal.
“The lads put in a fantastic performance and the women’s team will be in the Champions League next week with Lyon, so we can’t get more European than that.”
