Juventus Champions League squad adds Vlahovic and Zakaria, ignores Kaio Jorge

Juventus have added Dusan Vlahovic, Denis Zakaria and Luca Pellegrini to their Champions League squad, but not Kaio Jorge.

Under new UEFA rules, clubs are only allowed to make three changes to the squad list following the January transfer window.

The Bianconeri have therefore added January signings Vlahovic and Zakaria, along with left-back Pellegrini, who had not been previously included.

They step in for Aaron Ramsey, Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur, who were loaned or sold to Glasgow Rangers and Tottenham Hotspur.

Because the limit is three, it was decided to add Pellegrini rather than striker Kaio Jorge, who has barely been used by coach Max Allegri this season.

That means Federico Chiesa must remain in the list, even though he has been ruled out for the rest of the season by knee surgery.

Juventus will face Villarreal in the Round of 16, with the first leg in Spain on February 22.
