Juventus have added Dusan Vlahovic, Denis Zakaria and Luca Pellegrini to their Champions League squad, but not Kaio Jorge.

Under new UEFA rules, clubs are only allowed to make three changes to the squad list following the January transfer window.

The Bianconeri have therefore added January signings Vlahovic and Zakaria, along with left-back Pellegrini, who had not been previously included.

They step in for Aaron Ramsey, Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur, who were loaned or sold to Glasgow Rangers and Tottenham Hotspur.

Because the limit is three, it was decided to add Pellegrini rather than striker Kaio Jorge, who has barely been used by coach Max Allegri this season.

That means Federico Chiesa must remain in the list, even though he has been ruled out for the rest of the season by knee surgery.

Juventus will face Villarreal in the Round of 16, with the first leg in Spain on February 22.

Juventus Champions League squad: Szczesny, De Sciglio, Chiellini, De Ligt, Arthur, Danilo, Vlahovic, Morata, Dybala, Cuadrado, Alex Sandro, McKennie, Pellegrini, Kean, Bonucci, Bernardeschi, Chiesa, Pinsoglio, Rugani, Rabiot, Locatelli, Zakaria, Perin

  1. absolute moron from Max n his team managing this selection process.. we have Chiesa injured until June n yet kept him in the squad… why Max? hoping for a miracle that Chiesa comes back?

  2. no he clearly didnt and also, even if there is spot left for him, what did he showed already thinking he might be useful at the highest stage? this is a kid only managing to score 2 goals in the Brazil League in on year and a half, and has yet everything to prove he can handle serie A

  3. Chiesa remains on the list even though he is out for the season. Why even sign Kaio Jorge if he isn’t given a chance? Good ol Allegri, still no good at trusting and developing young players. Managers like him and Conte just want to spend money on expensive ready made players but it should be the measure of a good coach to be able to manage both experienced players and young alike. This is why for me the 2 best coaches in Serie A are Pioli and Gasperini. Not afraid to manage a club with little to no money to spend and succeed.
