Juventus celebrate the 12th anniversary of the Andrea Agnelli presidency: ‘The best victory is the next one.’

The Bianconeri ended the season empty-handed for the first time in 11 years. They lost the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Finals against Inter. They were eliminated from the Champions League Round of 16 against Villarreal and finished fourth in Serie A.

However, Agnelli remains one of the most winning presidents in the club’s history and the man who made Juve return to winning ways after the Calciopoli era.

The Bianconeri have celebrated the 12th anniversary of his presidency with an official statement published on their official website.

“In a few days another season under the presidency of Andrea Agnelli will end, the 12th, but we are already thinking about the next one,” Juventus said.

“We are already thinking about the new challenges that we will experience, in order to return as soon as possible to where we belong, and that with Andrea Agnelli as President we have occupied for many years, raising the Scudetto nine times, the Coppa Italia – five and the Italian Super Cup just as many.

“Because this is and has always been Andrea’s philosophy: the best victory is the next one. And the next victory, is conquered only with those that are the characteristics of the Juve DNA: passion, dedication, courage, willpower and the determination of those who never give up.

“Fino Alla Fine.”

Agnelli and the Juventus management were booed by the Allianz Stadium crowd on Monday night, during Giorgio Chiellini and Paulo Dybala’s farewell.

The team’s disappointing results in Serie A over the last two seasons and the Argentinean’s departure as a free agent have upset most Bianconeri fans, but Agnelli is determined to lift more trophies again soon.

  1. Hired incompetent directors like Nedved and chased away competent people like Marotta and Conte.

  2. @ I MISS PARATICI: Yes, competent people like Marotta and Conte. Marotta dismantled our great midfield by selling Pirlo, Pogba and Vidal within 12 months and replacing them with players like Lemina. Conte didn’t even get out of the CL group stages and lost against Galatasaray. Even Benfica in EL. How deluded are you?
