Juventus brand growth among top-five clubs in world football

Juventus have been placed among the top-five clubs in world football for brand growth following a €140 million increase in its value over the past year.

The findings, published in Football 50 2022’s annual report shows the Bianconeri are recovering well from their post-COVID financial issues and remain the top Italian club worldwide financially.

Juve’s brand has even overtaken its pre-COVID status with an increase in value of 4.4%.

The Old Lady remain in 11th place overall but have closed the gap to 10th-place Arsenal due to their stronger growth.

The increase of €140m in brand growth is equal to 25% year on year with the estimated value of the Juventus trademark at €705m.

Juve’s brand value growth is all the more impressive given their on-field performances have suffered. After nine Serie A titles in a row, they have now gone two seasons without really challenging for the Scudetto.

The club started the season with Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the most marketable sports stars on the planet in their squad but he left to join Manchester United just before the closure of the summer transfer window.
