Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri confirms Weston McKennie won’t be available against Monza on Sunday as the Bianconeri have reached an agreement with Leeds United over the transfer of the USMNT international.

The Bianconeri host Monza at the Allianz Stadium in Turin tomorrow and will be without the American midfielder is on the verge of joining the Premier League side.

Allegri confirmed during a press conference on Saturday that he won’t count on the former Schalke man for the upcoming Serie A match in Turin.

“Absolutely no, there are transfer rumours around him. I think the two clubs already have an agreement. It would be useless to have him tomorrow,” the Italian tactician told reporters as quoted by Ilbianconero.com.

Allegri confirmed later on that Juventus and Leeds have an agreement for the 24-year-old.

“There is an agreement between the two clubs, but I don’t know if it will be finalised. He is a player on the market, so it’s normal not to bring him.”

According to multiple reports, the American midfielder has already spoken with his Leeds boss Jesse Marsch and at this point, a transfer to Leeds United is only a matter of time.

Allegri confirmed the Bianconeri wouldn’t sign a replacement for McKennie: “If he leaves, we have Cuadrado, De Sciglio and Sulé who can play on the right. We’ll change system if needed. It’s not a problem. The important thing is that we are recovering all the injured players.”
