Juventus believe they are favourites to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this summer, according to report in the UK media.

Pogba, who joined United from Juve for a then world-record fee of €105 million, is expected to leave Old Trafford when his contract runs out at the end of the season.

Several clubs including Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and most recently Manchester City, are said to be interested in his signing.

However, The Mirror report Juve have put forward an offer which they believe makes them frontrunners to sign the France international.

The article details how, while Juve’s package of a €10 million-a-year salary is not among the highest in world football, the huge bonuses included in his deal would make it a very attractive offer.

With Paulo Dybala and Giorgio Chiellini leaving, the report adds that Juve are selling Pogba a vision of being the club’s main star alongside Dusan Vlahovic.

Pogba made his professional debut at United in 2011 but left to join Juve on a free transfer at the end of the 2011-12 season.

He won four successive league titles as well as the Coppa Italia twice in his four seasons in Turin before returning to Old Trafford in 2016.

  1. What is this guy use for? He is already 30’s
Not represent the meaning of juventus (youth) and has already finished his career

With allegri, it will be perfect combination to take juventus to the gate of the death

  2. 29/30 is not a big problem at all in modern football, it is same as 27 20 years ago.
How old is De Brunye , Mane,Salah? I don’t mind getting Benzema and Modric.

  3. Perfect give him £10M considering he is a Superstar for his team, been injured and reheating soup never tastes as good as the first.

Better still just give PhD Max a lifetime contract and raise to £12M a season. After all it pays dividends to send on another defender, park the bus, sit deeper then deep and do it for 30 minutes.

  4. great move. i believe this move was in the works for a long time. thats why they didnt want to give dybala a new contract. pogba is a superstar. juve has lacked that star quality in midfield. the fact that he could play alongside some workhorses like zakaria and rabiot. it would free him up to be the box to box midfielder he once was. i dont believe he would have the same injuries because in the epl they play at 100mph every game. that is not serie a.
