Juventus have managed to beat out their competition for HNK Rijeka youth prospect Ivano Srdoc.

The 17-year-old Croatian forward was the hero in the last national Under-18 final, bewitching a number of scouts who were following him, including those from Juventus. Other Italian clubs were also keeping a close eye on the teenager, preparing for a possible move.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Juventus have now won the race to sign the 17-year-old Srdoc. The teenager has already carried out and passed his pre-transfer medicals and all that’s missing now is his signature on the final paperwork.

The Croatian forward, who is a fan of Milan, will sign a three-year deal with the Bianconeri and he’ll be integrated into the club’s youth system.

Srdoc excited all the scouts sent to observe him and many expect the Croatian teenager to go onto great things in the future, although it’s hard to imagine him breaking into the Juventus first team anytime soon.
