Juventus are now leading the race to sign Genoa wing-back Andrea Cambiaso, beating Atalanta and Inter.
The 22-year-old left-back has been linked with numerous clubs following Genoa’s relegation to Serie B.
They included Sassuolo, Bologna, Salernitana and Sevilla, while Inter had a meeting with his agent before moving on to other targets.
Atalanta had become strong contenders over the last few days, but now Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà maintains Juventus have surged in front.
Their proposal is worth €3m plus a player in exchange from the youth academy.
If Inter do not respond quickly with an improved offer, then the Bianconeri will try to lock Cambiaso down with a medical and signed contract by the end of this week.
The Genoa youth academy product made 26 Serie A appearances this season, scoring one goal and providing four assists for his teammates.
Cambiaso was on loan at Empoli in the 2020-21 campaign, in which they earned promotion from Serie B.
#Cambiaso, forte scatto #Juve: 3 milioni più contropartita al #Genoa. L’#Inter deve rispondere subito, altrimenti la #Juve chiude già entro questa settimana

Sun Tzu Max will mark out a 15 year career plan moving in between lower leagues teams. Frabotta and Pellegrini are prime examples.
Cambiaso will play if he is good enough. Frabotta is no where near good enough, so he is sent away. Simple.
