According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid could be expelled from the Champions League in 2023-24 if they refuse UEFA sanctions over the Super League.

Juventus, Real and Barcelona are still formally involved in the Super League, which was launched by 12 elite European clubs one year ago but collapsed within 48 hours.

Last week, the Commercial Cort in Madrid lifted the injunction imposed on UEFA, meaning that the governing body of European football is now free to impose sanctions on the three clubs.

New twist in Super League saga as Juve, Barça and Madrid could face UEFA sanctions

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, UEFA won’t take action for now. A new hearing will take place at the Madrid court on June 14, while The Court of Justice of the European Union won’t announce its verdict on the Super League’s legitimacy before 2023.

That’s why Juventus, Real Madrid and Barcelona don’t face any risk for 2022-23 when they will play the Champions League regularly. However, in order to be reintroduced to European football and ECA, they should face the same sanctions as the nine clubs that withdrew from the competition a year ago, including giving up 5% of revenue for one season playing in Europe and a €15m fine. Should they fail to accept those sanctions, they will likely be excluded from European competitions in 2023-24.

  1. So after being relegated to Serie B, they have kept on looking for more trouble…

Nobody is saving Juventus outside of Italy, that`s for sure! Just look at their performances without referee support

  2. UEFA just want the clubs to stay with them in THEIR super league.

They’ve created the monster they’re now scared of.

  3. @Ferban
Not with their newest FFP ideas that favour the Premier League even more. It’s a shame more clubs don’t come together and do something about it. Instead, the president of a club that’s making a mockery of FFP is ECA President. True comedy.

  4. Lol… This won’t happen. You can say what you want about Juve’s lack of influence in europe, but Barca and Real excluded from the CL would mean serious sponsorship pull out from the competition. That would be a spectacular own goal by UEFA and would actually catapult the Superleague project. UEFA are a joke.

  5. I MISS JUVENTUS IN SERIE B 🤡 Loves Juvey he or she doesn’t know. Spend more time reading Juvey news then any other team. Clown welcome to serie A kingdom. Lol

  6. @samy Ibrahim

Bcuz of your poor English, now u decided to just copy and paste other people comment hahaha

  7. Ah Simy Ibrahima how are you young lad? Simy your vocabulary was getting better but you have slipped back into old habits. I thought you were taking on extra shifts to wash more elephants in order to go to night school and study English for dummies. What happened?

  8. I thought 2022/23. 😛 Kidding. 🙂 Can you imagine CL without Real and Barcelona? Also Juventus are respected CL member. No one believe this will happen.

  9. I follow Juve and I’ve been totally against Super League.. The President is a complete idiot and he needs to go

  10. All of a sudden, all the anti-Juve elements came out from nowhere and spamming the comment section! How pathetic, they are consumed by their own envy 🙂

  11. So this means UEFA will just leech more % money from the sanctioned clubs, LOL.

    Nothing will happen…

  12. Imagine how corrupt and deplorable UEFA is that they manage to unite bitter football rivals in unanimous condemnation. The football Mafia.

  13. @Samy

    Inter 5-0 Shakhtar

    Inter 2-0 Shakhtar

    PSV 1-2 Inter

Now post the results of your mediocre juve against Ajax, Lyon, Porto and Villarreal in the last 4 seasons

Inter last won CL in 2010. juve last won it in 1996 lol.

  14. I think a competition that Juve, Real Madrid and Barcelona play each other over and over again would be amazing. They can add a few lower division teams as well and pay them a fraction of the money of course or maybe it’s not allowed to join other leagues according to the rules that everyone agree upon when starting every season. To think that football is only Jube, Barcelona and Real Madrid is actually delusional. They should not only get banned for a year but get points deductions if not excluded in their respective leagues.

  15. @Inter What has Inter won since then? They haven’t even got close to winning anything decent or consistently. Flash in the pan like Chesney Hawks.

  16. There is always that one clown who spends all his time commenting on any news relating to a club he hates without realizing that the only damage he is doing it to himself.

Get a job, get a life, you’re a loser! Nobody actually cares about them being in Serie B, just like how nobody cares what you think.

  17. @solointer, the day Juve, Madrid, Barca win the legal case in The Court of Justice of the European Union, Zhang will come to Agnelli, begging like a filthy beggar so they can participate in the Super League. Funny how Inter fans are so bitter with this idea while their club is on the edge of bankruptcy. MORONS!

  18. @Debu

Yes just like juve won the calciopoli appeals and got the Scudetti back haha. Keep dreaming. You will be excluded not just from CL but also Serie A if you insist with SL idea, which is only 3 clubs now anyhow hence useless.

  19. Can we keep this football please, and not judge people on how well they can write the English language this is football Italia really we should all be writing in Italian. Keep it real, if inter got relegated now how many players would stay with them in serie b. I think most would agree 0, if juve were to get relegated now or get thrown out of Europe there would be a hand full of players that definitely would be staying on because the bianconeri have DNA, thick and thin, Fino alla fine. Make the most of this year girls because juve are breathing down your knecks already,

  20. To address our sad lack of champions league cups that someone mentioned is clearly is due to the fact of juves immense respect and hunger for serie a and Italian dominance. When was the last time you won serie a and how many times? Yeah that’s write, we aren’t the strongest in Europe but in Italy you know we are. We haven’t been able to smash Europe because we love smashing inter mummies so so much, I love Milan, forza i rossoneri x serie a vantaggio x

  21. I also love bologna too, baci, juve drew to bologna I think, the copa italia I suppose will clarify who has had a better season all in all this year

  22. How did you come to the conclusion that 0 players would stay with Inter in case of relegation (in your dreams of course..)

Barella, Bastoni and Dimarco would stay for sure. So would Handanovic Probably Darmian and Gagliardini too. Anyhow we will hopefully never know 😉

  23. I don’t mind if inter stay up indefinitely like I say we like inter mummies Francescino, in your dreams them guys will stay come on, I’m wetting myself here hahahaha, you think you got serie a in the bag this year too haha mi fa ride propio na pagliacc

  24. @Francesco, do you know 15 big clubs including the EPL clubs are still bound with the SL contract that they have signed? No??? 🤣 Technically, SL is not dead yet and it’s not just 3 clubs. However, i understand Inter fans like yourself is too busy to hate.

  25. The English clubs will not play SL forget it. Not after the outrage of their fans and media. Good luck doing a super duper league without English teams, who are the richest and strongest in the world now. And if SL means excluding Inter from Serie A just to play real/barca every week I am against it for sure. Nothing to do with hate but the domestic competition matters not just money grabbing.
