Juventus are ready to snatch Filip Kostic out from under West Ham United’s noses after having abandoned the Eintracht Frankfurt talent.

The 29-year-old had been heavily linked with Juve for weeks only to then be dropped in favour of other transfer targets.

Following that switch, West Ham dived in with a proposal for the Serbia international winger, but that too has stalled with suggestions Kostic asked for some time to make a decision.

Now Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà claims that Juventus are back in contact with Eintracht Frankfurt and Kostic to negotiate a move to Serie A.

The player also seems to favour the Bianconeri, especially as they are in the Champions League, as are Eintracht Frankfurt after winning the Europa League last season.

In all cases, the asking price is circa €18m to buy Kostic, but ultimately it seems as if the decision is up to the player himself.

  1. Did I just read “Eintracht Frankfurt” talent?
Since when did a 29 year old become a “talent”?

  2. Go for him. A 4-3-3 simply won’t work with our ongoing midfield issues. Kostic playing as a wing-back could help us in a 3-5-2 and keep our midfield from getting run over by provincial clubs. Let’s see what happens.
