Juventus are waiting to hear back from Ligue 1 side OGC Nice after sending an improved offer for centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo on Tuesday evening, according to the latest updates.
Juventus improve Todibo offer
According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus sent a significantly improved offer to Nice on Tuesday, which is close to matching the French side’s asking price.
The Old Lady are aiming to bring Todibo in on loan with an option to buy. Recent reports suggest that Nice are pushing for a €5m loan fee with the buy option set at €30m. Specifically, it is the terms of the buy option that Juventus modified on Tuesday.
Nice are yet to give a response either way, but Juventus reportedly feel confident that they will be able to get the deal over the line.
The former Barcelona centre-back has made 100 top flight appearances for Nice since his arrival in 2021, but has not been included in any of his side’s recent pre-season friendlies, as he is expected to depart before the end of the transfer window.
