The latest Serie A Round favoured Juventus and Atalanta, who earned a slight advantage over competitors Bologna, Lazio, Roma and Fiorentina in the race for a Champions League spot.

Both Juventus and Atalanta secured crucial wins in Serie A Round 32.

The Bianconeri beat Lecce 2-1 in Turin on Saturday, while Atalanta defeated Bologna 2-0 at home on Sunday.

Atalanta’s win allowed Gian Piero Gasperini’s men to remain third, while Juventus leapfrogged Bologna in fourth. The Bianconeri now enjoy a two-point lead over the Rossoblu.

Fiorentina were held to a 0-0 home draw by strugglers Parma on Sunday, dropping six points behind Juve.

Serie A Round 32 ends on Monday with Napoli hosting Empoli at the Stadio Maradona.

The Partenopei have practically booked a Champions League spot, but must win to return three points behind table leaders Inter.
