Atalanta striker Luis Muriel is again linked with a possible move to Juventus, while Moustapha Cisse should replace Ajax-bound Lorenzo Lucca at Pisa.

The Bianconeri continue the search for a new striker after deciding against activating the €35m option to purchase Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid.

Muriel has repeatedly been mentioned as a potential reinforcement, as his contract with Atalanta is due to expire in June 2023 and he has already shown himself to be an idea figure off the bench, including in the Champions League.

Calciomercato.com claim negotiations are progressing between the clubs, although Atalanta’s €15m asking price is considered too high for a 31-year-old.

The Colombia international has 98 goals and 48 assists in 280 Serie A appearances, where he played for Udinese, Lecce, Sampdoria, Fiorentina and Atalanta.

Last season, he contributed 14 goals and 10 assists in 39 competitive matches for La Dea.

Meanwhile, Sportitalia report that Atalanta youth product Moustapha Cisse will join Pisa on loan, replacing Lucca, who completed his transfer to Ajax today.

  1. Very high price , I prefer Zapata or Ilicic , maybe they are older but they can be good replacements for Dusan.

  2. At 31 he is just about old enough and ready for Allegri but Allegri will probably say he needs time to grow…
