PSG striker Mauro Icardi is eager to join Juventus and spoke to new coach Max Allegri, claim reports in France, as wife Wanda Nara drops hints on social media.

While Paris Saint-Germain have been investing heavily on the transfer market, including Gianluigi Donnarumma from Milan and Inter full-back Achraf Hakimi, Icardi is dropping further down the pecking order.

The 28-year-old was signed from Inter in 2019, initially on loan with obligation to buy for €50m plus up to another €22m in add-ons.

There is a €15m clause in the contract forcing Paris Saint-Germain to pay Inter if they sell Icardi to another Serie A club, which even at the time was considered a way of preventing his transfer to Juventus.

The flirtation between Icardi and the Old Lady never quite went away and with the return of Allegri to the bench, it’s coming back to the fore.

According to Footmercato, Allegri spoke to Icardi’s entourage over the last few days and said he would love to have the Argentina international in Turin.

Icardi’s wife and agent, Wanda Nara, also dropped hints on social media by wearing a zebra-striped top, similar to the Juve logo.

“I toast for me, for what is coming this year and for you,” she wrote.

Icardi scored 13 goals and provided six assists in 28 competitive appearances for PSG last season.
