Juventus used a meme to announce that Simone Padoin is joining Max Allegri’s coaching staff.
The former midfielder was always a fan favourite, even if he didn’t necessarily get much playing time for the Old Lady.
He wore the Bianconeri jersey from 2012 to 2016, then hung up his boots in October 2020.
There had already been reports Padoin would join Allegri’s staff and he visited the Continassa training ground again today.
Juventus released a video on social media of Padoin hugging Daniele Rugani and Paulo Dybala.
When Dybala asks: ‘Are you staying?’ and Padoin replies ‘yes’, the sunglasses meme is activated, effectively announcing his appointment.
