Juventus and Sassuolo continue Locatelli talks over the phone

Juventus will reportedly contact Sassuolo regarding the Manuel Locatelli negotiations today and the two parties are moving closer to set up a meeting to sign an agreement.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the two parties will talk over the phone today and if they reach an agreement, the two clubs will meet to define the details and sign the agreement.

Locatelli to Juve: very close to reaching an agreement

Locatelli’s move to Juventus has been a lengthy and complicated operation and the newspaper reveals the Bianconeri and the Neroverdi will continue talks over the phone today.

The general agreement on the transfer fee was not enough, the two parties must now overcome the formula obstacle.

The Bianconeri have shortened the link to the obligation to buy with conditions, which the report claims are linked to the Champions League and appearances at Juventus.

Sassuolo would like an unconditional obligation to buy or an easy target that will be reached almost immediately.

The club from Reggio-Emilia would like to close the annual budget with an outright sale and that’s why there’s no scheduled appointment for the next meeting.

Juventus expect to reach an agreement over the phone and focus on closing the deal before meeting with the Nerorverdi to sign the deal.
