The Allianz Juventus Stadium will seem rather empty for tonight’s showdown, as both Juventus and Milan supporters are protesting over ticket prices.

It kicks off at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).

This is a decisive fixture for the Champions League places, as a point will be enough to book the Rossoneri’s place in the top four.

Nonetheless, the Ultras have announced they are boycotting the match in protest at ticket prices and the need to register with the Juventus website, something that also caused problems for Fiorentina and Inter fans this season.

Meanwhile, Juve fans are also staging a protest and will stand outside the stadium for the opening 20 minutes of the game, as they too believe the ticket prices have got out of hand, likening the sport to ‘a night at the theatre’ reserved only for the elite.

It could create problems for Juventus, who organised a special choreography covering the entire stadium, but a section is going to be empty when fans are supposed to lift their placards.
