Juventus and Man City call Vlahovic’s agent

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus and Manchester City have opened talks with Dusan Vlahovic’s agent ahead of a potential January move.

The 21-year-old striker won’t extend his contract with Fiorentina, which expires in June 2023.

On Wednesday, Fiorentina director Joe Barone refused to rule out the striker’s exit in the January transfer window, saying that Fiorentina are ‘always very attentive’ on the market.

The tension is growing in Florence as Fiorentina ultras have warned Vlahovic not to go under the Curva after games, which he did after Lazio-Fiorentina on Wednesday.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, both Juventus and Manchester City have made contact with Vlahovic’s agent, hoping to finalise the deal in January.

However, Vlahovic demands a salary in the region of €6m-a-year and Fiorentina don’t want to sell for less than €60m.

Juventus have one more problem as Fiorentina do not accept swap deals and the Bianconeri can’t make big money moves. Therefore, they may only afford the player’s signing on loan with obligation to buy.

Atletico Madrid are also interested in signing Vlahovic. The Serbian forward was close to moving to the Wanda Metropolitano in the summer, but Fiorentina rejected their offer.
