Chelsea have again refused to send Romelu Lukaku out on loan, this time to Juventus rather than Inter, but the Bianconeri and the Belgian are prepared to wait it out.

According to Tuttosport newspaper, the Stamford Bridge side has turned down a proposal from Juve to take the striker on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

They had already said no to Inter because that would’ve been the second consecutive campaign on loan, so the Turin giants had hoped it would be different for a new club.

The asking price remains €40m, but seeing as Lukaku is an incongruous figure at Chelsea and not part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans, that could well drop.

The forward meanwhile continues to turn down the more lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, as he was prepared to destroy the rapport he had built up with Inter in order to join their Serie A arch-rivals Juventus.

Tuttosport suggest Juve and Lukaku are therefore prepared to wait it out and force Chelsea’s hand later in the summer.
