Ilkay Gundogan’s contract expires with Manchester City next summer and both Juventus and Galatasaray are interested in picking him up, reports suggest.

The 31-year-old German midfielder is a core part of Pep Guardiola’s squad in the North West of England and has proven himself a top player with the Sky Blues in recent years, but a change could soon be on the horizon for the player. Gundogan has less than a year left on his current deal with Manchester City and is seemingly open to a departure next summer.

As reported by The Sun, Galatasaray are seriously interested in picking up Gundogan on a free transfer next summer and Juventus are also keeping tabs on the 31-year-old’s situation, interested in adding an experienced winner to their squad.

The German midfielder has made 14 appearances across all competitions this season for Manchester City, for a total of 907 minutes. In that time, he’s scored two goals and provided one assist.

  1. yes sign both Kante and Gundogan, give them huge wage until 2025 and watch them collect the paycheck like Pogba
