According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus and Atletico Madrid are stepping up the pressure on LOSC for Tiago Djaló, but the player till prefers Inter.
The situation is a little complicated, as not only does his contract with Lille only run to the end of the current season, but he is also currently out of action with a serious knee ligament injury.
Those factors all combine to create a situation where anything could still happen.
Gianluca Di Marzio claims on Sky Sport Italia today that Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli is increasing the push for Tiago Djaló and would be prepared to purchase the Portuguese talent in the January transfer window, albeit leaving him on loan for the rest of the season.
That gives them an advantage over Atletico Madrid and Inter, who are waiting for his contract to expire and pick him up as a free agent over the summer.
However, Inter have been pursuing the 23-year-old for some time and laid the groundwork to put themselves in pole position.
The defender is primarily a centre-back, but can also play on the right or left.
He is not entirely new to Italy, as Milan bought him from Sporting CP for €1m in January 2019 and sold him on at a big profit of €4m to LOSC just six months later.
