Massimiliano Allegri confirmed in his post-match press conference that Paul Pogba will be available again from tomorrow: ‘He arrived on time for the match tonight…’

The France international was dropped for Thursday’s Europa League clash between Juventus and Freiburg for disciplinary reasons.

He was late for Wednesday’s retreat at the J Hotel, so the Old Lady’s boss didn’t include him in the team for the game with the Bundesliga side.

However, during a post-match press conference attended by Football Italia at the Allianz Stadium, Allegri said the ex-Manchester United midfielder would be available again from tomorrow.

“I think Pogba arrived on time tonight, so he will be available from tomorrow,” said Allegri smiling.

Juventus Chief Football Officer Francesco Calvo revealed before the game that the club would fine Pogba.

Allegri also provided brief updates on Federico Chiesa and Angel Di Maria. The Italian suffered a suspected knee injury in his second half, while the Argentine ended the match touching his abductor.

“We’ll see tomorrow,” Allegri said when asked about Chiesa. “At the moment I can say nothing because I know nothing. I didn’t see him after the game because he was taken to undergo anti-doping tests.

“Di Maria put in an intense performance for 90 minutes. I think he had a cramp. We’ll see tomorrow.”
