Juventus are reportedly pushing to finalise a deal for Memphis Depay following the frustrating injury to Angel Di Maria.

The 34-year-old Argentinian winger will seemingly be sidelined for around 20-25 days due to an adductor injury, adding to the Bianconeri’s injury crisis. With other key figures like Paul Pogba and Federico Chiesa also sidelined, Juventus are starting to grow concerned about the limited number of options available to Massimiliano Allegri.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Juventus are starting to intensify their talks with Depay as they push to reach an agreement with the Dutchman soon. The 28-year-old still needs to resolve his contract termination with Barcelona and only a few million seem to separate the two parties.

Juventus are facing competition for Depay, with rumours suggesting both Chelsea and Tottenham are keen, but they’ve already agreed a deal in principle with the Dutch forward, who’ll be given a two-year contract worth around €6m net per season.

The Bianconeri are ready to full close out a deal once Depay has resolved his contract situation with Barcelona.

  1. Dont think he’s poor – nor will he be bad for us, as serie a is too slow – his pace will cause problems – however we should be thinking about the future – and with this guy – last club he was good at was lyon between 2017-2021 and then before that it was PSV 2011-2015 – 2 really easy farmers league
