Paulo Dybala wore the captain’s armband against Atalanta and scored the opener after eight minutes, as Juventus picked up a 3-1 win over their Serie A rivals.

The fans were back at the Allianz Stadium tonight, as Juventus picked up an important win one week ahead of the new campaign.

Dybala was back in the starting line-up on the same day as his contract talks were postponed until the end of the month, but Allegri shows his intentions with the Argentine by giving him the captaincy against La Dea.

Aaron Ramsey was back in the middle and tested a trident up front with Cristiano Ronaldo, Dybala and Federico Chiesa.

Atalanta gave Luis Muriel a chance up front and the Colombian grabbed a goal from the penalty spot to equalise Dybala’s opener.

But Federico Bernardeschi restored the lead before half-time with a goal in the 39th minute, before Alvaro Morata added a third in stoppages of the second half.
