Juventus and Roma picked up a draw and Lorenzo Bettoni at the Allianz Stadium goes through the things you may have missed on TV, including Paulo Dybala swapping shirts with Dusan Vlahovic.

Dybala returns

Paulo Dybala returned to the Allianz Stadium as an opponent and was welcomed warmly by his former supporters. They applauded him when his name was announced before kick-off, booing the rest of his teammates and José Mourinho. La Joya received a mix of boos and applause when he was subbed off in the second half and swapped his shirt with Dusan Vlahovic after the final whistle.

Mourinho: ‘I was ashamed of Roma players’

Irritable Mourinho

José Mourinho looked irritable, especially in the first half. Roma conceded early and the Special One was insulted by Juventus‘ ultras in the Curva Sud. Something he is accustomed to, anyway, and you may remember how he answered them when he beat the Old Lady with Manchester United in 2018. Mourinho was so upset with his players that he left the dugout one minute before the end of the first half after spending most of the time sitting and complaining with his staff members. He was more proactive in the second half and stood in front of the bench to give instructions to his players.

Miretti and Allegri’s subs

Fabio Miretti was a surprise addition to the Juventus line-up. The 19-year-old started his first-ever game in Serie A and added quality to the Bianconeri’s midfield. The Italian starlet moved between the lines and often urged his teammates to pass him the ball. He was about to be subbed off seconds before Tammy Abraham’s equaliser, with Nicolò Rovella ready to replace him on the sidelines. Max Allegri quickly changed his mind and threw in Weston McKennie and Arek Milik, replacing the Italian starlet. Rovella eventually entered the pitch with four minutes remaining.

Abraham’s celebration

The England international seemed very happy with the result. Roma managed a 1-1 draw thanks to his first Serie A goal this season and Abraham celebrated almost as if the Giallorossi had won after the final whistle. It wasn’t an easy game for the ex-Chelsea man who often talked to Dybala and Lorenzo Pellegrini during the match. The Argentinean and the Italian played behind Abraham but struggled to feed the 24-year-old, especially in the first hour of action.
